Accountability: Week of 9/12/2011 - 9/18

Weekly Total: 35.1

9/18
Miles: 2.5
Spent all day writing O-chem problems for a dental school admissions test prep. Went out for a short jog in the evening. Surprised that my legs aren't hurting more after running all week (pathetic as it may sound)

9/7
Miles: 8
Slept in and rolled out of bed at 8:30 to go for my morning run. I've been planning all week on tracking out a course for Kennith Hahn state park. After finding an easy route, I completely failed in getting there. Not because I didn't get to the point I had marked on the map. But because there wasn't a park entrance there. Empty handed , with no breath taking view of the city I turned around and ran home. Damn you google maps, next time I'll turn on the satellite picture

9/16
Miles: 5.6
How do all of my runs end up around the same distance? Got up and took frenchy (Jonas) for a run. Felt ok, just didn't want to get up. Ran to Baldwin Hill sans going to the top.

9/15
Miles:5.5
Not enough sleep again, but maybe its because I'm just getting used to this schedule (I did still sleep 7.5 hours or so which isn't all that bad). Ran down memory lane to Veteran park. No laps this morning. Getting there and back was enough for today. Keep telling myself that if I can get through two weeks it will all come easier. That's how long I used to think it took.

9/14
Miles: 2.9
Felt lethargic. Slept ok, but could have used another hour. Ran Lazy Loop and stopped to stretch for about 5 minutes.

9/13
Miles: 5.6
Rolled out of bed at 6:30 after a night of less than optimal sleep and ran the now longer version of the Cheviot Hills Loop. Felt good considering that I'm fat and out of shape.

9/12
Miles: 5
Woke up after 12 hours of much needed sleep and hit the road. As a first step towards my goals I feel I need to explore the neighborhood around me more. Make more routes. Eventually make longer routes. Today ran a newly modified route which I'll christen Little Burton. Hopefully to be followed shortly with Big Burton. It was a shorter (feels like medium now) 5 mile loop running through some back streets up to Burton Way where there is a nice wide grassy median to run along (reminiscent of Huntington). Felt good.
